Believe me, this can be really tough if you go for it.

So go for it! : )

Hi Dax,

How does "Meltdown" differ from tabata training?

Good question!

Tabata is a component of my meltdown training but not the only one. We use ICP's, Pyramids, Triple-Burners and a host of other short, sharp workout modalities as part of the system.

Tabata is great but it's not all that MELTDOWN has to offer : )

Hope this helps : )

I love it Dax! It's great! Looks like a killer workout! What if you want to try it in a gym? I guess you could wrap a towel over a column/post??

For anyone else out there, I know from first hand experience, Dax' Meltdown Circuits are hard work, fast, a lot of fun but most of all they work.

Keep up the GREAT work Dax!!

How many rounds of this workout do you do? At the end you say, "take a rest and we'll do it all over again"

Cheers!

Dax! I am out of shape and decided to do your 4 minute meltdown in my office at work! I have a jungle gym I can use on the door (once it is locked!) and did the meltdown 1 round yesterday! Wow! I was surprised how winded I was, but I recovered quickly and felt good. Today, I did something I always do to make things worse! I did 2 rounds! WooooW! Then, I went back to work at the desk...a few hours later, I could feel the stiffness creeping in! When I was ready to leave, my abdomen was sore, and I was confused at the reason! I had never had lactic acid build-up in my abdomen before! I thought I was getting sick! LOL!! Anyway, just wanted to share that 1 round may be good for awhile, and that's what I'll go back to doing next week, (once I heal!) I feel like a horse kicked me in the belly! In the future I will walk it out afterwards, instead of falling into my chair!
