30lb in 30 days... Still Want In?

Wow!

I DEFINITELY wasn't expecting that!

Nearly 200 people have applied for one of the 18 places I have available on the 'Lose 30lbs In 30 Days Challenge' that's starting Monday and I have to pick them from some really, really great applications.

It's gonna be hard : )

In fact, it may be a little TOO hard.

So...

Instead of trying to 'sell' you all into getting onto the program I'm going to do something completely different.

I'm going to see if I can put you OFF!

You see, I reckon that the idea of 30lbs in 30 days sounds pretty cool to many of you and I'm sure that you'd love to see the end result in the mirror after a month of following my exercise, nutrition and lifestyle strategies but I wonder if you're ready, REALLY ready, to put forward the effort required to reach this amazing goal.

Let's see shall we?

==> Are you ready, willing and able to give up COMPLETELY all wheat, dairy, caffeine, alcohol, sugar and processed foods for the duration of the program?

==> Are you ready, willing and able to exercise 7 days a week for around 1 hour with no excuses about work, kids, 'feeling tired' or anything else?

==> Are you ready, willing and able to train HARD and put forth 100% effort in each of your workouts to bring about the best possible response to training?

==> Are you ready, willing and able to utilise safe nutritional methods like carb cycling, intermittent fasting and more to bring about a rapid reduction in fat and overall weight?

==> Are you ready, willing and able to follow lifestyle guidance regarding sleep patterns, stress reduction and hydration?

==> Are you ready, willing and able to COMPLETE the 30 day program with no excuses for dropping out?

If you answered yes to ALL of the above questions then go ahead and put your name in the box below and you'll be shortlisted and notified about my selection at midnight tonight.

If not, if you realise it's just not for you then hey, thanks for reading : )

You need to get a move on though, I've a lot of names to get through and not much time to do it so put your details in the box and we'll be ready to go!

YES! I'm 100% Ready, Willing and Able To Lose 30lbs In 30 Days...

II am ready, willing and able to do whatever it takes to achieve amazing results. I want that six pack so badly I can taste it. And it tastes better than caffeine, wheat, alcohol, dairy, etc. MUCH BETTER.

I have looked into the mirror of my soul and focused on what it is I really want, and I am willing to pay the price. I trust you to show me the way.

To Dax and Readers:

I'm 22 and my whole life I've wondered "What could be my best shape? My healthiest physique? Is this as good as it's going to get? Am I just doomed to always feel like I need to loose 30+ lbs?"

Over the last year I made a new goal in my life. STOP SETTLING! Stop settling for what you don't have WHEN YOU REALLY DESERVE IT! I am a gym junkie, and fitness queen, and a woman that thrives on killer workouts, eating right, and living a healthy and active lifestyle. I want to be able to freaking rock wall climb one day or swim across the English Channel!

I'm NOT settling but I'm still struggling. I get tons of advice, ideas, and tips along the way... but the scale doesn't lower, my body feels better but looks without major difference, so what am I not doing RIGHT?! Where is my ultimate transformation?!

My mother is actually a big fan of yours and turned me on to your blogs. I have over come many obstacles and I have risen to many challenges where I have stared failure in the face, but I've trudged on and come out victorious. I don't take the easy way out in things and I don't cheat myself from the truth. In fact, the truth hurts. And I know I'd be cheating/hurting myself from a great, GREAT opportunity by not going out for this program.

As a runner and a swimmer I believe in the "Bell Lap". Never give up and when tempted to slow down or give up, remind yourself of that final lap and give it all you've got for the whole way. I don't ever want to walk away from anything without knowing I gave it all I had. I want to go 200% in your program.

I train because not knowing how strong I can be, how fit I can be, how healthy and happy I can be, is a dream I am still willing to chase in order to be my reality.

I play to win ;)

Is that at midnight in the UK? Woohoo, only eight more hours until we find out. My fingers are crossed so hard, they hurt!!

I've already created a "30 in 30" inbox for my e-mails in anticipation. I hope I won't need to delete it!

I'm cutting coffee and bread starting today - that way I won't be suffering early next week. ;-)

Am I excited about giving up my beloved morning coffee with half & half? My whole wheat breakfast burritos? My occasional yogurt? My weekly Dr. Pepper? My evening cheese snack? ABSOLUTELY NOT! If I were, I wouldn’t need to lose weight :). But will I? YOU BET! I can do anything for the 30 days needed to create a new habit & a new attitude & a new body!

Will it be hard to find an hour / day in an already full schedule. ABSOLUTELY. But will I? YOU BET! I’ve got clothes that haven’t touched my body in two years! However, most importantly, as a follower of Jesus Christ, I know that my body is a gift from him and I need to care for it well and use it wisely. I want & need to get back on track fitness-wise.

I am READY. I am really looking forward to this.

One question 30 lbs in 30 days: is it 30 pounds of fat ;)

Can´t wait. I'm starting tomorrow anyway. There is no stopping me now.

Thank you Dax.

Hey Dax, I would be very keen to undertake your transformation program, I fed up with my own half hearted attempts to change myself, and a 30LB jumpstart would be amazing, as well being excited at how fit I would be after 30 days of regular vigorous exercise. I need to do something different to be the best I can be - A wise man said "If you keep doing the same as you've always done, you'll keep getting what you've always got" ;) I want to do something different and get something different

HI Dax,

I have just read your email and am so excited that I may have the opportunity to be trained by you! I was one of you guinea pigs a few years back for the elimination diet with Kevin and loved it! Following the elimination diet I lost an average of 3lbs a week. I then returned to do the course again because I gained so much from it, going from a size 18 to a 14. I not only lost weight and toned up dramatically but the goal setting was fantastic and has helped me to achieve great things including a Master of Arts last year. I have maintained that weight loss since 2007, by doing the elimination diet every so often, eating the right foods advised by you and following the dynamic movement training but I want more! I have recently become engaged and want to feel fantastic for my wedding and for our married life together. I am sick of my weight affecting my self confidence and the things that I do! I am so determined to lose another 30lbs and in 30 days, bring it on! My heart is racing writing this because I remember the buzz I used to feel when I was following it before and I am so excited that I could be at you studios again felling absolutely fantastic. The confidence I would feel as I walked back to the tube after my sessions with Kevin was immense. I have been a walking advertisement for the elimination diet and have put lots of friend onto it who have subsequently found that wheat and sugar were the main culprits for there poor health! This opportunity is fantastic I wont let you down! I don't need convincing I know I can loose 30lbs in 30 days and I commit 100% (as I did before) because I have such a strong belief in it. I CAN transform and tone my body into the healthy shape I want for life, just give me the opportunity.

Thank you,

Abby Tyler

Hi Dax This is Cynthia. I guess it is only a matter of hours now. Just to wanted to let you know one more time that I realize the hard work that is ahead of me for the next 30days. I have built up my own personal "support group" of friends and family who will see me through this. 30 days is nothing in the BIG picture. It is what happens after the 30 days that really matters. After reading all of the posts I have learnt alot from the other contenders. I know I am not alone in my struggle. Fingers are still crossed. Good luck!

Your attempt to scare me (and it looks like quite a few others!)away from your challenge has failed spectacularly. I couldn't be more ready for this challenge.

Am I ready to eliminate those 'foods' - to use the term loosely - from my diet? Hell yeah! Am I up for 100% commitment to exercise for an hour a day? Baby, let's make it an hour and a half!

Email SENT.

gotta love the fact that you're being up front and honest--there is no easy road--only the right road. I'd love the opportunity to give it my all--I've got 35lbs left to lose before I reach my goal weight and it's slow going at the "accepted" rate of weight loss--blog is no problem, pics, video, twitter--you name it--I'll guinea pig myself (heart & soul & pure focus) out for 30 days

ps. (last one - promise!) I'm a research academic and an editor. Needless to say, I would love to blog about the 30 day program - before, during, and after! And I have my own gym at home. My fingers are hurting from being crossed for so long! ;)

Peace and love,

Maria.

I definitely want in on this. If I were to lose 30lbs in 30 days that would put me 18lbs from my goal weight. I'm 43 years old and busy with 2 children plus dayhome children and really need more energy to be with these children. I also want to be healthier for me and sexier for my hubby.

I just received your email about the 9 awol participants, and have to say Please let me join if they don't show up. I am ready and willing to follow your program to the very end. I work out for an hour + everyday and will follow your plan to the tiniest detail. I have followed your elimination diet before, and know I can do it again. Already, I do not eat dairy or caffeine. I have been carrying these extra 30 pounds since I graduated from college and am now 49 years old and ready to be fit again. My circle of friends is large and I would be a walking advertisement for you! I've already sent at least 10 people to your elimination diet! Please, please if someone doesn't show up, let me try.

Okay Dax,

Didn't realize I even needed to make a post. I just signed my name and waited. What a dummy.

I have a goal of weighing 180 lbs. I weigh 210. No joke, only 30 lbs left. I'm down 20 lbs to date and know my diet is truly what's holding me back (or me not following any diet).

Help!!

Jeremy

Yikes! Dax! I missed the original guinea-pig post in which you said, that I am to blog why I should be given one of the spots on the program. Boy! did it affect my chance because I just registered and did not give positive reasons why I want to do this...

I am so glad I got your email saying that there is still hope for me. I am as excited as a kid on his birthday.

I do want you to know that I am deadly serious about your program.

My 9 year old has taken to calling me "Big Papa" and "popcorn", instead of dad or pops. Any guess why?

I went climbing a hill the other day, about 500 steps, and was huffing and puffing to the top. At the top, my head was spinning, and everything was a white blur. I thought I was dying! It took me almost half an hour of lying down to recover enough to attempt the climb down.

I used to be much much thinner and fitter. I used to go to the gym 5-6 times a week, workout diligently, kept a workout journal, and looked good. Somehow, things changed. I went on vacation, got married, changed jobs, stress, parties, nights out. Binge drinking, too. My record of 13 Tequila shots one night, and actually not having a hangover the next day still stands!

And this started showing on my waist. From a 28" waist 12/13 years ago, I crossed 30, 34, 38, and 40 too... I am at 42 currently and headed north....

Now, I want things to change again. It's not going to be easy for me. I work six and a half days a week, 12 hours a day. I don't know where I will find the time. But find the time I will, and workout
too I will.

I sometimes refer to my belly as my one-pack. I don't want the one-pack any more. I want six. I want a six-pack. It'll be hard, but not impossible. I am willing to commit to the major exercise and lifestyle changes required to be an example for you, and a source of inspiration of what's possible to myself, and to my near and dear ones...

There is a verse in the Bible that says: "If the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch". Well Dax, I want to use your "eyes" - your knowledge, expertise, your program to save myself from the ditch.

Re-consider me Dax, chose me and get me pointed and jump-started in the right direction these next 30 days.

And yes, whether I'm catch #22, and you've added me to the lucky 21, or not...., I appreciate this course and what you are doing.

Thank you for this opportunity...

Okay, I think the fact that they haven't responded indicates a lack of believing they would ever be picked to begin with. That's SOOO not the mindset to start an intese program with. I'll do it!!! I'm in!!!! Even when I wasn't chosen the first round I decided to commit to the detox diet and do things on my own because I wasn't going to let NOT being chosen get in my way of accomplishing my goals. But if there's still a chance, even a SLIM chance,I'll do it! I really want to be fit for my kettlebell instruction class in September. The reason I want it so badly is to help my overweight ten year old niece lose weight. I want to be an example to her, my sisters, and other women that THEY CAN DO IT!!!! Let me prove to you that I'll be a great model for others moms and women. PLEASE give me a spot on your trial run and I promise to give it my all!!!! Hoping for the best!!!

I would still love to have the opportunity to change my body and my life. I tried to keep my last blog down, but saw that everyone else did not. I am 58, newly single and am cured from binge eating. I have 50 lbs to loose, but more important I want to be heathy and sexy at this age. I have always been a size2/4 and years of an abusive marriage took a toll on the me that is now buried deep inside. I am now mentoring other women on how to take charge of their lives. I want to be able to move easily and to sit on the floor to play with the grandkids. Natural health is my new passion and I am working my way to a new life and vitality and need a serious exercise plan to go with it. Please consider me!!!
